Dear sport friends,
It pleasures us to invite you for the 20th International Judo Tournament in Burgum, organised by Tori, with permission off the Dutch Judo association the first Open North Dutch judo championships. Just like previous years we hope also this year that we can count on a tournament level of (inter)national class from as well as, both Dutch judoka’s and foreign judoka’s (among others Germany, England, Finland and Belgium). Because of the big sympathy for the tournament we adapted the plan. The tournament will be hold on 2 days. At the oldest age group ( -20 and + 20 year) money prices have been introduced. The best achieving judo club at the tournament can win a price of € 200,-. For details see Regulation.

In the event of insufficient contestants in a category keeps the organisation themselves the right to link up weight category’s.

Regulation
Place: Sport Hal “Westermar”, Burg. B. Lohmanlaan 40/B te Burgum
Entry: By E-mail to ericzoontjens@tori.nl, or fax it to +31511-464521.
Besides, at the entry form you can register which judoka’s will join for
the challenge-price (max. 10 judoka’s), for this you have to sign under
column Cup an X.

Enrolment Fee: € 9,- a judoka, to pay at weighting..
The entry is only definitive when the enrolment fee has arrived.
The cut-off date: Closing is the 11th of November 2005 or sooner at the reach of 1000 participants.
Tournament system: Double elimination, unbeaten champion, lose twice is out (when there are less than 6 participants in a certain weight category, the pool system will be handled).
Pool over: The only possibility to do this is for the 27th of November by email or fax.
On the tournament day self is this only possible by a payment of €5,-.
Coaching: One coach card a 10 participants.
Participants: Every participant must show his passport. There’s only the possibility to take part in one weight category. Participation is on own risk.
Referees: The decisions of the referees are binding. There are three referees at the seniors and juniors.
Permission: The tournament has been approved by the J.B.N.
Liability: The organisation is in no way liable for harm, theft or accidents, doesn’t matter what shape it is.
Participants cards: At the day of the tournament, the participants cards are ready to be picked up at the entry of the sport hall (so they won’t be send). A message with the weigh times will be mailed or send to you far before the tournament starts.
Money prices: Pools > 16 participants: 1st price € 75,00 2nd price € 50.00 3rd price € 25.00
Pools ≤ 16 participants: 1st price € 50.00 2nd price € 35.00 3rd price € 15.00
Challenge-price € 200,00: one can give 10 participants up, and gets
for the 1st price 3 points, 2nd price 2 points, 3rd price 1 point.
